Employers’ first-hand accounts of how the Update Service and free online Status Checks could benefit organisations.

The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) helps employers make safer recruitment decisions and prevent unsuitable people from working with vulnerable groups, including children. It replaces the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA).

At Hamiltons Tuition all staff are required to have DBS check done. If you have one please bring it in. There is an administrative fee for this, as this is for you to keep. Please note we do not charge on top of whatever the government charges us for processing the application.

Please note that the DBS check can take up to four weeks, so please apply today to get your application processed quickly. Even if you decide not to work with us but would like to have a DBS check done which you can use with other organisation we are happy to process that.
