KS5 TRANSITION COURSE

We offer a transition course for the students to boost the confidence at AS. Our transition course is designed to cover the gap between GCSE and AS maths. This course would be beneficial to pupils who needs to keep up to date knowledge with A/A*:

  • Fractional and negative Indices
  • Fractions manipulation
  • Transformation of graphs
  • Surds
  • Algebraic manipulation (completing square to factorising quadratics equations with large coefficient of x square).
  • Trigonometry
  • Sine and Cosine rule
  • Circle Theorems

We believe this course would be beneficial to anyone doing AS maths as it gives them the confidence and ensures that the gap during the summer holiday does not have a negative impact on their prerequisite knowledge.
